Billetweb collects data related to ticket buyers on behalf of event organizers. Organizers define the data to be collected, own the collected data, and are responsible for its proper use. Billetweb neither uses nor transfers these data in any way. The data retention period in our system is set at 5 years after the end of the event and can be reduced by the organizer. Billetweb collects data related to organizers who publish their events online to meet legal requirements and promote events to buyers. The ‘organizer’ data collected by Billetweb is neither transferred nor sold to third parties. As part of the identity verification of organizers required by Article L561-5 of the Monetary and Financial Code, Billetweb transmits these documents to its banking partner Lemonway solely for the execution of payment services. If the buyer creates a buyer account when placing an order, they authorize Billetweb to collect, store, and process the data provided by the buyer, notably to be able to retrieve them for a future purchase. This data is retained for a period of 5 years from the buyer’s last purchase.
